Young girl died after being turned away from her GP
The tragic death of Ellie-May Clark from Asthma after being turned away due to being late for her appointment.
The five-year-old girl died on the 26th January 2015 and had a history of severe asthma. She was only a few minutes late for her emergency appointment but was turned away, even though the receptionist was informed that the young girl would arrive slightly late.
The Clark family are distraught and would like a more severe punishment for the GP who failed to clinically assess Ellie-May before turning her away.
